The Calculus, a leading German education consultancy, announced a common scholarship-cum-entrance exam for admission to English-taught bachelor of engineering and BBA programmes of five leading German state universities. It will be held from 9am to 11am on June 19, 2012 at Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi.
Students of Class 12 as well as first- year college students are eligible. The entrance exam will comprise mathematics and English questions. Interviews will be held on the same day, post lunch hours. The fee for the entrance examination is Rs. 1100.
Through this entrance test, students can take admission in the Aachen University of Applied Sciences, FH Bielefeld, University Duisburg-Essen, Hochschule Rhein-Waal, FH Sudwestfalen.
The Aachen University of Applied Sciences, founded in 1971, provides its 9,000 students with first-class training in modern and future-oriented professions. There are 200 staff members involved in training and research. Currently, the university offers 56 degree programmes in the fields of engineering sciences and economics.
Hochschule Rhine-Waal University is a modern, innovative and internationally-oriented college on the Lower Rhine River, offering at the locations in Kleve, Emmerich (transitional) and Kamp-Lintfort a comprehensive higher education in the specialty fields of technology and bionics, life sciences, society and economics and communication and environment.
